Pixlr

Pixlr is like a free Adobe Photoshop alternative! This is a really amazing tool for detailed creative editing and also for quick simple photo enhancing.  You can upload your photo directly from your computer and when you finish editing, you can save it back onto your computer immediately.  Very great free online tool for creative class projects or just playing with photos.

MoMA : Museum of Modern Art

View and study famous art pieces. MoMA.org is the website of the Museum of Modern Art (located in New York City) and it provides full digital exhibits of their current museum installations.  This is a great way to see a fuller collection of well know artists alongside information about the artist and works. Besides the exhibits, the site also provides access to works by many well known artists which you can find under the “Explore” menu by searching a specific artist’s name or you can look at specific mediums of art including: Architecture & Design, Drawings, Film Media & Performance Art, Painting & Sculpture, Photography Prints, & Illustrated Books.
